I am of course unofficial but it depends. If you have no match and can hack it, the best course would be a Roth first. That is post tax but the gains are not taxed. It also allows better early withdrawal options if required.

After that, the pre tax traditional is fine too. It really depends on individual situations.

So what you are saying is a van got slammed into by an out of control Honda and autonomous controls had nothing to do with the wreck. So I guess Jalopnik is just reporting on local accidents now. Ok, got it.

That’s a great way to summarize this great car.

Probably racing every minivan, school bus and Camry they encounter on the road.

Friend. Your instructors are not good at it.
Did they go over some BS about having to balance the gas with the clutch and all that? Yeah... that’s the end game, but until you understand the relationship... it’s meaningless.

My advice. Get manual car. Sit in lot. Place your right foot firmly on the floor away from pedal.

Sounds like you had an awful teacher, anyone with functioning arms and legs can easily learn a manual.

I’m terribly confused why people need more torque? How the F are you people driving around the city?

Obligatory:

Yup. The Ap1's were the ones to have. I believe 4-wheel crotch rocket was the commonly used descriptor then. The Ap2's were a cop out to the lazy driver who couldn’t afford a Boxster.

Is this a joke? If you are buying it as a daily driver or only car that you need to do practical things with, you’ll have to settle for the FiST (or something else). If you want a truly special sports car (that will beat the pants off an FiST in all measurements except practicality) you buy the S2000 (and you’ll also

My S2000 makes me feel alive because it feels like it could kill me

The thing about the S2000 is if you keep it under 4K revs it acts like a civic. Once the vTech kicks in though, YO! It’s two different cars. It’s a taught direct commuter car or a high strung beast depending on what part of the rev range your using. It’s a seriously fast car that’s easy to stay out of trouble with. So

The Ford is the smarter daily driver decision, the S2k is the smarter financial decision.

While I do love me some torque (c4 with 383 stroker motor), HP without torque is just a different driving experience. Like a crotch rocket versus a Harley.

WTF are you talking about? They weigh basically the same. The BRZ is 40 hp shorter than a s2000, and only has 156 ft. lbs. at 6400. How in your half-baked mind is that better than the power specs on an S2000? Pretty much negates any comment you’ve made on this topic.

me reading these comments from people talking about having to rev up to get the power like its a BAD thing in a sports car

I think I could show you how haha. Its all about finding someone that can be patient and teach you in a way that clicks for your brain. There are also some tricks to getting a car rolling without stalling, but it comes down to having a teacher that will show you how to make those decisions. I took a friend out who was

I will teach you. I’ve taught numerous persons, even those that have previously failed. I’ve even had people tell me why no one ever taught them the way I taught them. Which is odd because I wouldn’t know a different way to teach someone. I did have one failure initially, I taught an ex girlfriend in an old Civic

I’m calling shenanigans on the “hell raising” 7800 rpm redline. It’s no slouch, and I believe it’s more powerful, but this car’s party piece was really the earlier engine with the 9k rpm redline.

All throughout high school I obsessed over the s2000, but had to settle for my 91 civic si lol. Well, I’ve had my s2000 for about 5 years now and it ain’t going anywhere!
