Well... maybe it’s a really shitty investment (I’m only kidding; I agree it’s obviously a sunk cost).

The second you buy a car new and drive it off the lot you lose about 11% of the car’s value: http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/how-fast-does-my-new-car-lose-value-infographic.html
They are almost certainly going to be resold in countries with no or nominal emission standards. I simply won’t believe them if they say they’ll crush them. Gotta make that money somehow.
But Tebow is an outfielder too.
It’s rough to watch as it is happening but the theory behind it is sound. The problem I have with the way Philly went about it is they drafted 3 guys that play the same position knowing full well they would need to develop them (give them minutes) in order for them to have any real trade value or to be a key rotation…
I’ve never seen this before. I must be a 13 year old because I’m actually giggling over it.
Ya those went in the center of the wheels right? I had a math teacher in junior high who drove a 4th gen trans am. I always thought that car was so badass until one day I took a really good look at the wheels and saw an ABS badge on each of them. It is easily the most tacky thing I’ve ever seen on a car from the…
“we call that runnin through the okra patch!” needs to be on a shirt. I will wear it.
This is all true. He’s a low risk high reward contract too. It’s a 1 year deal and his cap hit is less than a million bucks. If he ends up contributing at a level higher than he did with the mavs last year then he’s probably worth it. If not then they wasted very little money in the grand scheme of things. On the off…
He did all of that in 1 year. Duh. It’s even more impressive because he only played in 55 games last year and spent some time in the D league. Keep up brah.
His eyes are the anti-Duncan.
It wasn’t quite that bad. He logged minutes in 55 games and rode pine for probably another 15. He was up and down like 4 times but each of those times lasted less than 5 days. Anyway dude can ball and pretty much nobody knew about him last year because all of his big games happened when nobody was watching basically.
He can’t be given a technical or flagrant foul for it right? This is the logical next step.
FIRST unanimous MVP.
It’s not his best outing. He has won a Cy young. He has been dominant in each of his previous starts this playoffs. I agree it’s silly to just assume they win every game he pitches in the WS but it’s equally silly to write off the series of performances he’s had in the playoffs as “the best outing of his career.” In…
He, like curry, is also an objectively below average defender. They both make up for poor on ball defense by stealing passes but neither come anywhere sniffing league average on ball defense whereas klay is tip top in the league behind only guys like tony allen and kawhi leonard.
Everything which is why you’re here.
I’ve been watching it too. He didn’t make anyone cry. He tilted another professional player and she shipped her stack because he was in her head after bluffing her with 9 high. Poker isn’t a game that should be played with everyone covered up and not speaking. He is annoying as hell but he’s also entertaining and he…
Yes it is. You have to give them a “reasonable amount of time” to act but if you call clock after 2 minutes every time you’re within your right.
