Maybe this isn’t good for this week, but I’d like to see a take on those Starbucks Sous Vide eggs that they have out now. It seems like you could have a lot of variation!
He’s Rosemary Clooney’s son, cousin to George.
Well, everything they said about their knowledge of the specific details of the craftsmanship SHOULD be discredited. Throwing out baseless claims as facts when you have no knowledge of the subject needs to be called out more. I’m not saying that I disagree with their overall point, but when you make up stuff to make a…
See, you’ve already lost people when you don’t know that it’s a Louis Vuitton bag in the pic. If you don’t know the brand, then you’re probably not going to be a reliable source of information on the specific details of the craftsmanship and quality of their items.
And of those, how many were due to the fetus being incompatible with life (aka too severely malformed to live) and/or endangering the life of the woman carrying it? Hint: The vast majority of late term procedures are on women who wanted to be pregnant but it was a medical necessity to terminate.
It was the Sia face-cover of its day.
Ha - that is exactly what I put in my cart an hour ago!

On the subject - does anyone have any good recommendations for containers? I’m using a huge pot for now, but it seems like everything on Amazon is $25 or more without a lid (which is another $25). Should I just go ahead on those or are there better/cheaper options?

I’m not sold on either of these being better than their traditional methods, but I’d love to see some infused cocktails/drinks!
For me, I love collecting Things because the Things I collect have stories behind why I collect them, how I got them, how hard it was to complete a set, etc. So it is experiential while also being ‘stuff.’ It’s evolved over the years from albums to tech swag to Pop! figures and tsum tsums, but the sentiment is still…
I mean, all of these shows are heavily edited to make people look like hot messes, and some have a lot more material to work off of naturally *cough*- but it’s so disappointing how fast the freaking Mean/Cool Girls are to come out and attack Katie and stick up for Schwartz. I guess critical thinking skills are only…
A tip for getting that crust (which won’t work for sous vide though) - freeze your fresh meat for about 10 minutes - when I’m making Shake Shack/Smashburger style burgers I make them into tallish pucks, put in freezer, then smash down onto the hot griddle/pan. So good!
I didn’t say he’s trying to be manipulative, but trying to or not his behavior IS manipulative. And I know he may not be aware of it, and I don’t think it matters if it is intentional or not. I know I have been on both sides of the equation and regardless of intent, people need to be aware of how their actions affect…
But it’s not a common option at all, unfortunately. Being triggered by someone else having problems, issues, and/or needing something IS manipulative and selfish, whether it is intentional or not. It has nothing to do with being a ‘monster’ or any other melodramatic terms that yet again derail the topic off of the…
I find his behavior very manipulative and selfish, because regardless of whatever issues he has, the timing of needing so much attention right when his wife is going through hardships is all about making things All About Him. But as usual women are supposed to be rocks and suppress their emotions and put their needs…
Squint at him and say “wait - you actually believe that?” then shake your head and chuckle. If he keeps going just be as patronizing as possible when you tell him that you can’t believe someone of his intelligence would fall for such things.
I think a lot of the choices here will really depend on your skin type. I have normal but prone-to-redness skin and always end up going back to the Hourglass primers if I stray. It’s also really important to let your moisturizer dry for a bit before using a primer.
It would depend a bit on where you are - for example, I have all of my (adult) kids on a Family Uber plan so they’d always be able to get around in areas that have Uber, or you could get bus/metro/subway/rail passes in areas where those are an option. So the transport issue seems like more of a matter of planning than…
