I’d avoid adding more salt during the cooking process - it can have an adverse affect on some foods (especially those in water) and you’ll just be adding in more than is needed to get it to taste salty. Adding salt at the end of the process as desired is the way to go.

eBates also recently expanded their in-store discounts - basically you link a card to a merchant and if you buy something in store with that card you can get a discount, but you have to opt-in again after each time you use it so it’s a little clunky.

eBates has a Safari extension too!

Is your dog a cat? It does not want a hug.

Recently I was traveling and stopped at a fast food place to use the restroom. An elderly man with a woman in a wheelchair (possibly his wife) were in front of the door. I asked if there was a line/if they were waiting (unsure if this was single stall - it wasn’t) and he said he was waiting for an employee (they were

It’s just all of this “I think the ball is in his court because he cancelled without offering to reschedule” “I have always thought that the person who does the cancelling should do the re-scheduling” stuff. I’m just one of these ‘too old for that shit’ folks at this point, but then I’ve never really been into any of

Wait a minute - he cancelled and said he was sick and you didn’t respond to that? Like, you didn’t even say that you hoped he felt better? You seem to have a bunch of rules in your head that you’re not communicating but expecting him to guess. If you were sick and told someone, don’t you think it’d be rude if they

She already has - Rosemary’s Baby...

Okay, I have an issue with this:

If you’re low on space, you can start out w/tools that combine some of these - I have a combo food processor/blender that also has cups for smoothies, a combo cooker (rice/slow), a combo pressure cooker (pressure, slow), etc.

Pop! figures! Ah I want that Big Boy but not at the rate it’s going for now...

Oh my yes. The pettiness and misogyny around here is thicker than concrete. SO many articles and comments tearing women down. I don’t know how we can end this cycle of women piling on women - for their actions, for their opinions, for their looks, for imaginary things even. And then the men get to add to the pile-on

You can get those green tea kit kats at places like World Market.

I think apps like this are often recipes for disaster, depending on the people behind it. All of these ‘sharing economy’ apps have issues with crime - ALL of them - they’re low on accountability and responsibility but high on convenience and novelty. I use them (love Uber, would do AirBNB if I wasn’t racking up

So what, exactly, is the issue you have with pointing out that precautions should be taken? ESPECIALLY if you are naive or thoughtless enough to not think of them - I doubt someone who is ‘terrified’ would even consider it, but for those who might think it’s okay, what specifically is the problem with pointing out the

As have I. But I have also had people try to drug my drinks in bars - crowded bars with lots of people. I’ve had people try and pick my pockets in places where I was a tourist. I’ve had online community colleagues proposition me more times than I can count, and have been lucky to be in places where I had an out. So

The experience for a guy traveling in those scenarios is vastly different than that of a girl or woman. And while 99% of the time this would probably be fine, it’s also an open invitation to the sort of people who drug women, who rob tourists, and so on. Healthy boundaries are good to have for these sorts of things -

This sounds like an idea that is decent at first blush, but way too horrifying to even consider.

When my bank issued me a new card, my gym somehow was able to keep using/charging to the old number for over half a year - they didn’t get the new number, but using the old number still worked for them (all of my other accounts failed if the number wasn’t updated). Gyms!!!

His hands (and obvious background) break the ‘joke’ though.
