Simple! Seeing Project A-Ko on the Sci-Fi Channel made my 10 or 11 year old brain EXPLODE with surprise at how simultaneously goofy, serious and heart felt anime could be. Runner up anime series were the Tenshi Muyo series and movies, Unico, Samurai Pizza Cats and Akira.

Its really unfortunate how this game was received (and lack of exposure) it got. It a was decent game with flawed fighting mechanics and lazy battle design towards the end. It was also a game that made you feel that its developers were really passionate about world building and at least bringing up the morale

Im just praying I never experience Lucy Lawless spouting such brainlessness... THAT-WOULD-END-ME!!!

Wow... that was thoroughly underwhelming!

I hate this guys videos, most of this his critiques are ridiculous nitpicks of belief that most people suspend when viewing works of fiction. He always sounds completely full of himself and his ability assess the difference between reality and fiction.

So flipping excited!

I remember as a kid seeing Roujin Z and Magnetic Rose (Memories) on the Sci Fi network and being completely astonished at just how much realism and drama anime could convey. I would later find out that Satoshi Kon had a had in both films along with Otomo. His films are the only anime that feel as if they transcend the

I was charmed with the game for my first 2 deaths but by the time I finished I was really disappointed. It really felt like you had to fail at certain events with no way to make up for them all in preparation for a "boss" battle that comes out of nowhere... and thats it. You win, games over. If the game had had

I cant get into this recent version. It looks like Slender Man in drag and her limbs are about to snap.

My only nitpick is that I would guess, aesthetically, producers wouldnt link the show with so much synth. I think a cheesy power ballad ala Whitesnake or something mildly heinous like that. Any time a film featured someone with a sword and mail, softrock wasnt far behind.

I know, it feels like 13 means more to Squenix than it does to anyone in the world. Its like a couple who refuses to admit they have an ugly baby and decide to enter the thing into baby pageants.

No, the way I put is the way it commonly proceeds. Marketing and packaging is the responsibility of an entirely different group within most industries. Developers will give the assets but there are certain standards that are upheld in the interest of the publisher to sell the game. Not to mention with most games sold

This is the single hardest thing to beat out of students when they enter the field of design. A designer does not equal artist. An artist has free domain over their ideas and images, while a designer is creating for their clients purposes. He should know better that the materials he creates, while beautiful, are not

Errr no, even as a designer the first thing that you are taught is that your job is not to make a personal artistic statement. You are designing for a certain purpose, for your client, to convey THEIR ideas, wishes and motives. They come to you because they like your specific style or aesthetic but beyond that your

Well, then do I have just the movie for you!

This kickass bitch!

Ive never read the GitS manga but I really never felt like the film was "missing" elements. To me it felt like a completely deliberate dive into the universe that happened to result in myself becoming far more interested in it than if there was some tiring exposition or montage of how humanity came about this

Best... story... EVARRRRRR!

Arent they just as skinny and gangly in the anime anyway???
