I agree, this just looks like they rammed some Lovecraftian type imagery into Portal. The high tech, cyber punkishness is just a bit too... kinetic? compared to the creaky abandoned, new england houses, foggy graveyards, or secret chambers that give Lovecraft the strong sense of eerie environment.

Although Zelda games have always had violence in them, theres a very cartoony feel to it that Nintendo is able to pull off in their games. This video just feels too violent and gory to me and just putting light adventurous music over it makes it feel bizarre. I just dont think Zelda games can translate right into live…
