This game is very intense. Great entertainment and I gotta say that the soundtrack was incredibly well done.

I fully support Benzies in this... unless R* decides to release RDR for PC. If that happens, then I fully support R*.

Why is that humorous? Many people upgrade every year and can easily afford to.

The game is really about energy management early on. Do I spend all my energy farming to earn money and increase the farming stat, or do I have a small farm and devote the rest to crafting or fishing?

So, I haven’t gotten it (yet); but from what I’ve heard... the game seems to assume that you’ve played this style of game before.

I’ll be running a tips post later this week, but part of it is planning - you need to know what you want to do in a given day and try not to overexert yourself beyond it - and some of it is prepping. You can cook or craft (or grow!) food that gives you more energy, eventually you even unlock a spa that rejuvenates all…

I bought it. I tried liking it. I wasn’t a fan of the lack of tutorial I guess. I wasn’t exactly sure what to do with the time i was waiting for crops and low on energy.

Isn’t FF 14 as a whole an exercise in frustration in comparison to its peers?

I have ALWAYS hated the way they try to force you to explore. Some people aren’t interested. There’s already so much that you ARE forced to do that has more do with actually playing the game.
