Ni No Kuni, that title screen music just brought all that nostalgia of the epic scores animated films from Disney and Studio Ghibli used to have.

Fire Emblem hands down. Luigi's Mansion is good, I just can't get into a whole lot. It's more like play 10 minutes, then put it down and do something else.

Fire Emblem. I went into thinking I wasn't going to like it that much. Turns out I loved it.

The Cave. I own it too..

Have to agree with the Last of Us. But it's seriously only a toss up between Ni No Kuni and the Last of Us since those are the only new PS3 games I played this year.

Ni No Kuni had an excellent story, but the game play and combat itself left something to be desired.

You make your character. You can choose sex, class, and a race( There's two other races aside from standard Human).

They haven't shown anything as far as the character feature details or how the customization is going to work though.

Brink, bought it on release. Played maybe an hour?

Bluetooth support does it for me. That gives me the option to use what ever headset I wish.

That's one thing that bugged the hell out of me with the 360. The standard 360 Headphone is terrible. And the wireless ones are all using a proprietary communication signal. I don't want to spend 60$ on a wireless headset I can

"The computer-controlled characters in the game's always-online multiplayer will run in concert with an active connection to Microsoft's cloud computers for the Xbox One version of the game that Respawn is making (and for the PC version and outsourced Xbox 360 versions, too)."

And that right there. The cloud system

You can lend books from the Amazon Lending library on Kindle.

Prime offers three major features.

Streaming
Book Lending: Basically just like a library but for digital titles on Kindle.

I use Prime for the shipping which makes it well worth it if you order from Amazon frequently. The Streaming is an extra bit that accompanies my Netflix and Hulu subs. No need for cable TV in this Apartment. :P

EQ, WoW, or Monster Hunter if you can count the series as a whole..

That's the point I'm trying to make though. Any one can sign up for an Azure account. Any one can use the services. Web based platforms are hardware neutral, you can make an application/service hosted on Azure and have an internet enabled calculator make calls to it for all it cares. They can't prevent or limit an

I don't see how this is a platform selling point. Sure it's cool tech, but I don't see how this sells Xbox One over other Systems.

Cloud based solutions like Azure are Device neutral you can literally do this with any other device that's connecting to the internet and supports the correct communication protocol

Ok, so they're using Microsoft Azure. This is platforms been available for software development for a few years now. There are plenty of other competing cloud platforms. Amazon and Oracle come to mind. I had a chance to play around with Azure a few weeks back at Tech Ed for some Web Development courses.

How is this

From the sound of it, it's basically the same or a similar thing to what's already offered with the Game Trials on Playstation+. Except your friend or "family" member has to own the game you want to demo.

Damage is done. I most certainly won't pick up an X1 at launch or at any point near it. However because the change I may pick one up eventually. After a hefty price drop and SKU change. (I didn't pick up a PS3 until it dropped to 299$, I've been a 360/Wii gamer most this generation) Instead of outright declaring to

Doesn't PS+ offer free game trials? Isn't that the same exact thing is this would of been but without the need for your "family" members to own the game?

Note* I currently don't have a PS+ subscription so I'm going purely off the advertised material here so if some one who does could elaborate on that feature.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

If this was for a "better future" why wasn't a middle ground looked at? Microsoft biggest enemy in this whole situation is themselves. You can't just say "My way is better!" without being able to clearly discuss why it's better and why your doing these things. Also, don't just attack criticism

I stuck a 32gb SD card in my 3DS so space hasn't been a huge issue considering games are usually a Gb or smaller.

But this is still welcomed news. I prefer physical for my 3DS, but I do own Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing digitally.
