It's like they used these as design templates for all future Saturns.
The aspect ratio of this video makes the car look way wider than it is. Kinda cool.
CP. It may make a good track day car, but for $13.5k you sure as hell could find something better and more reliable, not a hacked-together 30 year-old econombox.
This just goes to show you that Jeremy Clarkson is not Jesus Christ. As much as I love him, his opinions are just that...personal opinions. I hate how he just completely dismisses the Prelude out of hand. Out of all of these examples, the Prelude is probably the only car that could actually still be in running…
LOL, Ford Cougar. It was the "Mercury" Cougar here. I never understood badge engineering.
My understanding is that shortening the intake actually reduces low-end torque. Also, those short-ram intakes (like the one you pictured) are sucking in air from under the hood. Under. The. Hood. Where the air is warmer and less dense. I know there's a ton of debate on CAIs vs SRIs, vs stock intakes, but any…
I have a very good friend from one of the former Yugoslavian states who knows absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing at all about cars. He tried to tell me in his thick Balkan accent that his '96 Chevy Malibu had a "1.3-liter six-cylinder" and had about 100 hp. He also professed that *everyone* knew that Audis have…
This is why SUVs practically did not exist in those days. You've got an entire fucking living room on wheels there.
This is easily one of the most useless articles I've seen written on Jalopnik, and I'm not being sarcastic or facetious . There was obviously something wrong with your sensor(s). The one on my '09 Accord works just fine and as intended. Just recently, the TPMS light came on, so I checked the pressure in each tire and…
Can someone with experience answer me this: Why the fuck did he not simply tell her to get off the line hang on up the crazy bitch?
I never would have thought I'd like something like this, but I'm in love. This is surprisingly elegant and beautiful, nicer than the Cadillac Eldorado of its day, which wasn't even a RWD.
Sure, this could have been better had she actually talked about the specs of the car and wrung it out more, but it wasn't "horrible". I've seen way worse. She's waaaaay too bubbly and whiny though.
Came here to say I'm a previous and current Honda owner and have hung out with all kinds of drivers from insane car nuts to track drivers to mechanics and not once have I heard that Honda drivers are asshats. WTF Jalopnik?
My long-gone '02 Jetta GLS VR6 has heated cloth seats that went to "5". They were glorious, GLORIUS, I tell you, and they could singe your ass off if you weren't careful
Speak for yourself, please.
The only advantage I can see with tape is that it is basically future-proof. Cassette tapes are large, physical storage media and will (likely) never suffer from computer technology obsolescence - a tape player will always play a tape, no matter what. No software, no codecs, no searching through lost HDD archives.
Explain yourself.
Love it! For kicks, I looked up "Java" (my favorite programming language), and it had a beautifully clear explanation on what it actually was, as opposed to its "normal" page, which went into pedantic rants on the minutia, like syntax, JDK, libraries, Applet and Servlet examples, and all of its related technologies.
Can we say "uncanny valley"?
