I’m not saying he’s some superhuman genius that can tell the hp limits of a part just by touching it, but he’s probably seen a lot of what does and doesn’t work over his years building cars. It’s not like he’s doing this for the first time is the only point I’m trying to make.

I’ve seen people make LS engines unreliable. Granted, it’s hard, but it’s possible if you want to go extra fast extra cheap.

You can have cheap, fast, and reliable, but you can only have 2.

The guy’s been building winning race cars for decades, but I’m sure you’re right to assume he’s a chump.

As a low brass player, you take that back! Trombones are nothing like those elitist tryhard trumpets.

Maybe it’s because R35s are a dime a dozen where I live and R34s aren’t, but R34s will snap my neck anywhere I see one. An R35, while unique, just doesn’t draw my attention anymore.

On it, I’ll just ship 6 tons of cash your way. Let me know when you want to open up stateside! I figure we could use TVRs to make steaks.

I’m going to have to find something heavier than paper to make a check out of to make it heavier than 12,000 pounds.

David, we need to talk.

I’m willing to invest, where do I send my check/cheque?

I’m sure the movie is made well, has good performances, etc but among all the questions and worries, I have to ask...does anyone want a Joker origin story? One of my favorite things about the Joker is that he is the foil to Batman, the yin to his yang, the dark side to his light side. He exists because Batman exists.

See? You’re making your money back already!

At least the sheep would soften the impact?

Cries in flat plane crank. I’ll miss you earthquake-inducing pushrod V8.

I agree with the first part but aluminum, aluminium, and alumium are technically all correct names that the apparently non-committal Sir Humphrey Davy gave to the metal he discovered. I wonder how many names his children had through their lives.

You mean the Defender for the 364 days of beautiful British Summer and the Corvette for the 1 day the sun actually peaks through! Got ‘em! In reality, that garage sounds awesome.

Good point, still a pretty good deal in the racing world.

I really like HelloCousteau’s designs, but they’re nearly void of actual sponsors. When you have 50 people giving you money to have their logo on your helmet, designs can get a bit cluttered for even the best designers. I still agree with you that Vettel’s helmets aren’t that good looking though.

I’ll have one in Soul red, please!

Most TCR cars are barely above $100K. I think the Audis are $120K or so. That’s still a lot for a hot-hot-hot hatch, but super cheap for a legit factory-backed race car.
