Wouldn’t this just encourage more people to ride the subway, which, as you said, is having it’s own crisis at the moment? It seems like they’re taking water out of one overflowing pot and placing it in another. Or is this just another way to add more taxes?

Also they have their biggest budget in a decade.

They’re great little runabouts for densely packed urban centers, but outside of that they’re pretty awful. The customer that loves them wants nothing else, and everyone else wants anything else.

Just run some of the larges through the dryer a few times.

The amount of confidence you have in a government operating efficiently and in the interest of anyone but itself is concerning. Low gas prices benefit everyone. There are better ways to fund roadway repairs and social programs than by raising taxes. The government and companies are already working to reduce emissions.

The airline better hope that they never kill his dog by accident.

So you’d sacrifice a significant portion of people’s income for the decade or so it would take the government to install a half-baked mass transit system that would serve about 10% of the country’s population, most of whom are well enough off that they wouldn’t use it? You do realize that people live outside densely

I do, seeing as a significant portion of my family would be considered the working poor.

Eh, if OEMs offered a rainbow of options people would complain that they can’t get the shade of gray that they want. People love complaining.

So do we not care about the working poor at all? Gas prices affect them the most yet they’re hardly ever mentioned when raising taxes and prices is mentioned.

Of course someone who makes decent money and lives in an urban environment thinks it’s a good idea. They completely forget that the majority of the country has to commute for work because mass transit sucks and that a lot of people with lower incomes are drastically affected by raising gas prices.

That’s absolutely incredible, especially when you think that this was done from a standing start. I wonder what this thing would top out at.

Man the HAAS/Renault rivalry is really getting out of hand.

I’m a fan, but I REALLY love those blue seats!

Someone get these men jobs at NASA! We’re going to Andromeda baby!

Well they have Taycan my interest level in this car down a few notches.

I doubt Perez was trying anything on Stroll seeing as his dad signs the checks for the team haha

He was avoiding Perez who was avoiding Hulkenberg. It’s not uncommon to put a wheel on the grass at the start of a race. It is uncommon, however, for there to be a big enough bump right off the racing line to take a wing off.

That car is crazy! I love how the passenger was surprised how quickly a 5-time F1 world champion picked it up.

I don’t care about if I’ll remember this race in 30 years, I care if it’s interesting while I watch it, and the great midfield battles meant that it was.
