I was thinking that it looks good on him. It does remind how he has not been seen for a long time since this mess started with Konami.

It feels like Nausicaa was a rough draft for Mononoke. Both are great in their own rights but it feels like watching Digimon War Games then Summer Wars soon after.

The more you see Nausicaa, the more you realise it’s half a movie. Ghibli has always struggled with adaptations, and even though this was Miyazaki adapting himself, there are just too many leaps and holes in the story to put it any higher.

For the record, Kiki’s Delivery Service and Spirited Away are my favorites.

Castle of Cagliostro will always be Miyazaki’s best work, in my opinion~
