The glory of Grand Theft Auto games is that they do everything, albeit largely half-assed.

Sniper Elite 3 seems like a perfect summer-doldrums game, a guilty pleasure that will keep you occupied while not much else is on the horizon. Wondering which platform should you get it for? You should watch these comparison videos first. There is a clear loser.

Canada: the U.S.'s quirky, lovable younger brother. We mock him incessantly... But deep down we think he's chill as fuck.

The only "large" MOBA I've played that wasn't a bloody cesspool was SMITE. And even then it was as caustic as Lake Natron—-You simply had a bunch of chill people inbetween to even things out.

Dota2 and LoL are just.... Terrible.

Dude, I'm in the same boat in regards to Warlords of Draenor.

I thought I was done. I started in early 2005. I quit in mid Wrath. I came back in Cataclysm and was horribly disappointed...

But WoD... Damnit WoD is really making me sweat. It is far too tempting.

That age group is roughly between ages 6~75.

They make games that anyone from any age group can enjoy. People between the ages of 14-28 simply suffer from this feeling that anything with too much color or that isn't "Serious" is "for kids".

Nintendo designs their games to be "inoffensive"—-Otherwise known as "family

Smite is the most accessible—-and the least boring, in my opinion. Largely due to the 1:1 control you have over your hero, versus games like LoL or Dota2 where you command your hero, rather than actually control them.

That's because Bob is the savior of this site. Without him it surely would have imploded long ago.

It must be even worse than it otherwise would be, considering the fan outcry over his replacement.

Dude loved doing his work, and the fans loved his hearing his work. Losing a role like that—-disregarding the fact he had it for a dozen years—-is crushing enough already. Knowing you have a massive fanbase who

World of Warcraft not only has a clock built into the HUD, but there's also mods to get a timer/alarm clock in the U.I. =P

Haha! I know the feeling, man! I just spent 12 hours straight leveling a Barbarian 1-70 and a Monk 1-67. After spending 12 hours straight running my Crusader (Kadala gave me my Akkhan pants and boots within 30 seconds/75 shards of each other! yay!)

World of Warcraft. A game long past its prime. Populated by a set of players who are 'hardened' in a sense — although hardened is the wrong word. What is the right word?

"And two minutes later somehow killed by something that sort of looked like a frog."

But lately I've heard a call for game reporters to just stop asking about diversity, to stop nagging about social issues. I've seen a call for game creators to stop answering, to just shut up, to stop doing more harm with every word they say.

FLCL/Fooly Cooly... A.K.A. the best 3 hours of your damned life.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Superbowl. That day sucks horribly too.

If it weren't for the fact that stores mark down on the supplies for Nachos and various other delicious foods to abysmal prices then I'd hate that day just as much.

Not being American, I have no personal affinity towards 4th of July celebrations. If I were, though, you can bet your ass I'd be spending the day playing Sid Meier's Colonization over and over and over again.

If only Cill Bosby could have joined in...

A common line of thinking among modern video game fans goes something like this: Games have gotten dumber. Simpler. Game developers are sanding off the weird edges, dialing back the stats, making everything controller-friendly and aiming for the lowest common denominator. But if that's true, how do games like

/sigh... it's not about playing the game, it's about breaking the game and finding the absolute fastest possible time from start to finish.

Same with Tool Assisted runs... they aren't about the player's skill they're about finding out what is possible if you remove human error from the equation.
