I’m SO sick of waiting.

This happens where I live too (north bay Ontario) but we call them shad flies. I used to live away from the water so I just wouldn't go downtown for two weeks until it was done. Now I live right by the waterfront and they are EVERYWHERE.

Haha and I caved today and cleaned the kitchen :(

mine is a tiny bit bigger (like maybe a foot wider) but I only have one tiny window and he gets two huge ones so those things even out.

There is no lease and it's an all exclusive rental. But thanks.

HAHAHAHA the kicker is that he has serious personal hygiene issues and doesn’t even have a tooth brush in our appartment, he says he has one at work but I don’t believe him. He also only showers once every 8-10 days. Luckily he works long hours and isn’t home much.

It’s an all inclusive, both rooms are fairly equal in size (mine is the tiniest bit bigger but he has the big windows so that is a wash) There is no reason for me to have been paying more :(

Haha I’ve been doing mental battle with myself all day, I want to clean the kitchen, it needs to be cleaned, but I still didn’t do it out of some sad act of passive aggression. I def only have a roommate because I can’t afford to live alone, I’ve been effectively unemployed since september, I get enough babysitting…

I'm slowly learning not to be a trusting person.

We all need a safe space to vent. I'm waiting till I cool down to bring it up but I think it would be fair for me to pay $350 for a few months like h got to.

He's a nice enough guy but there have been problems before this. For example he only showers maybe once a week. Usually once every ten days.
