I thought what you were implying was the original Luke use was bad, when I thought it worked on multiple levels (like viewing the more legendary aspects of the Jedi from a non-Jedi perspective and such).

? That scene was great and the follow-through they gave us with the Boba ep/s let us see a more positive hopeful future Luke than 8 gave us so I thought that was really cool too.

I dunno that seeing them reuinited feels so good for me, I’d have liked Grogu to train a little longer before leaving the Jedi stuff, especially as it was kind of 2 seasons of build up then 1-2 episodes to nope out of there lol.

They’ll build him up over two movies, then... “somehow, the Emperor has returned” and sideline him or something lol.

The animated shows paved the way for the live action shows to exist. Sad to say (because I do like animation), it’s unlikely we’ll get anything about these characters animated again me thinks, though there’s a lot to enjoy in the live action ones too... sometimes lol.

I’ve never read the comics, but I appreciate this viewpoint. I’ve seen similar sentiments online surrounding the show from some comics readers too.

Him ‘cool-guy-not-looking-at-explosions’ at the end of the trailer did make me laugh though, I reckon there should be a hero who actually turns to look at the explosion for once and is all “Woah! Holy sh*t you seeing this?! Yo if we had a camera we’d point it right at this sh*t!” lol.
