This is why Stephen Breyer needs to retire NOW, so Biden can get someone in while there is a slim majority. Can’t risk the 82 year old dying and McConnell stonewalling until a potential Republican president can replace him.

Breyer needs to retire ASAP. He’ll be 83 in August and we don’t need another repeat of RBG. Plus with a 50/50 split in the Senate and a midterm election next year nothing is guaranteed. If Republicans take back the Senate McConnell would have zero qualms about holding a vacancy open for however many years it takes…

I bet if Israel was forced to make peace in order to keep their military propped up by the USA, they’d figure out a third option realllll quick. You boiling it down to those two options is exactly the kind of black and white thinking you decry. 

The right to defend oneself does not include the right to murder civilians with impunity. You’re decrying extremists on both sides, when only one side has the unilateral power to change things. Consider WHY Hamas has such a stranglehold on Palestine. Consider what Israel gains by the continued existence of Hamas.

Israel is not forced to do anything.  When Israel kills Palestinians, that’s a choice.

It’s a weird thing to say you are on the side of the Palestinian people given your apparent support of Israeli actions that kill scores of Palestinian people.

Oh, sure from a school punishment standpoint minors can get in trouble. But minors still have protection against the government criminalizing their speech. That’s the part I was referring to.
