good lawd.
good lawd.
i like ms. wiley and she’s in my top two, but you’re selling ms. garcia short. it’s clear that you’re approaching this from a horse-race/narrative position, where she’s taken the conveniently-open-to-her lane of “competent moderate,” rather than looking at her actual policies, because if you look at those you don’t…
props on some fine work during your tenure, ms. fitts. best of luck in your next endeavor.
hard to tell who the “we” is, but i’d guess it includes many different kinds of people given the octupling.
i feel like this article and the times piece conflate two separate issues.
“they are educated to link obesity to a multitude of health problems. ”
oh man, you really just slaughtered leanne.
talk about burying the lede, harron. these can’t be “perfect croissants” because they aren’t shaped like a $#%&%@! crescent. i know this diamond-ish shape is popular these days, but the best croissants hold true to the namesake of the form.
everything about this story is horrible and this guy should never be within hailing distance of any elected office, the fact that he still has supporters is baffling.
first off, in terms of what you’ve included on this list negra modelo is by far the best.
yeah i got a bike about a year ago and it was probably my best decision of 2020, use it all the time now.
he seems cool and all, but i have a hard time getting past the fact that there was already a rapper named “aesop rock” - why pick such a derivative name?
props to rep. tlaib for keeping the pressure on biden over this issue. i had hoped a biden administration would be more even-handed between palestine and israel, and their performance has been a disappointment on that score.
1. we *cannot* run biden for a second term given his age, it’s absolutely foolhardy
this happens in literally every election. 15% of clinton supporters voted for mccain in 2008.
there’s plenty of blame for all parties mentioned. the dems messed things up royally for sure. but people who live in a democratic republic have an obligation to (a) inform themselves about current events and (b) vote. it’s not either/or, just like the recycling issue you analogized is not either/or.
the entire “working is an american value, not working makes you a bad person” dynamic is sooooooooooooooooo dumb. some jobs can be fun and cool (what a given person finds fun and cool will obviously vary) but what human is excited to mop floors or work in retail or fast food?
despite the murray injury i’m pulling for the nugs. barton/porter/gordon/campazzo/jokic is just pure fun.
“According to all the Bron boys Steph was washed up and never that good right?”
“ Naturally, the ACLU argues it’s an unconstitutional restriction on speech.”
