the g.o.p. is not well-placed to strangle anyone over these kinds of accusations considering they supported our-worst-president-in-modern-history (tm) to the hilt when he faced even more egregious allegations.

not to well actually you, but the root is talking about northram because he just re-enfranchised some 50,000 people under state supervision. 

well, we could impeach them. though really i think impeachment is a more clear fit for kavanaugh (lied while testifying to the senate, may have committed sexual assault) and thomas (refuses to recuse himself in multiple instances where his spouse’s work is directly affected by the subject of the case at hand).

the ideal voting regime would upset everyone:

if the long arc of the universe truly bends towards justice, then justices thomas and kavanaugh will both face situations which result in their replacement on the supreme court in the near future. i’m agnostic on what specifically those situations are - undeniable scandal leading to resignation or successful impeachmen…

this bill is indeed bleak, but the brennan center for justice had some more heartening news:
