lol showing your ass here and proving me right. She’s fucking Greek you dummy.

Over on a certain reddit, you’ll see people complaining about The Boys being “anti-christian” despite the show being based on a Garth Ennis book.

The only one boob thing was disproven a long time ago.

Cue the alt-right trolls complaining about all the liberal representation here (most of whom have probably never touched a Wonder Woman comic).

Maybe it’s because it takes a certain worldview to “take up Wonder Woman’s iconic mantle as champions of noble causes”...

Women writing and drawing Wonder Woman? The devil you say!

Because for every fiercely independent, self-reliant, ex-military conservative Trump supporter living on a ranch somewhere there are at least ten obese, lazy, uneducated slobs who have done nothing meaningful with their lives and blame anyone but themselves for their lot in life. A lot of these types bought Trump’s

They are typical bullies. The instant someone stands up and punches one of these fuckers in the face (whether with fists or words or signs or memes), they start bawling and mewling like an infant.

They think it’s a liberal dogwhistle. Yeah, it’s literally about (alt-universe fictional) Nazis, but it’s really a statement about how close 45 is to becoming Hitler!

They use that “snowflakes” term quite frequently and I always found it kind of funny. I’ve never seen people whinge and cringe and whine and cry so much as these “hard core bad ass conservative patriots”. If the “Founding Fathers” whom they worship with a religious zeal saw these little cry babies they’d roll their

And they boycott a lot, in stupid ways. I mean fuck’s sake, they boycotted Starbucks by giving it money and boycotted Hamilton, which has no available tickets until at least 2018!

That’s the part that stands out to me. Trump supporter finds radio station talking about how terrible the Reich is, and how they should be opposed, and immediately starts defending the Nazi’s. What in the actual fuck?

You know, for a group that prides itself of being armed badass patriots, they sure to whine a lot.

I adore, love, and admire 3 out of 4 of these women, and I will see this on opening night. I cannot even imagine that it won’t be hilarous!!

I don't know what TCM is like in America, but the quality of some of the prints that get screened on TCM in Australia is woeful. "Poltergeist" looked like it was made in the 1950s. I seem to recall that "Soylent Green" and "Westworld" looked like shit too. Like really old VHS quality.

This is accurate.  How do you improve perfection?

TCM is really nothing short of a miracle - uninterrupted, uncut films from a wide variety of eras, knowledgeable and genial hosts, incredible original documentaries and a mixture of revered classics, forgotten films and cult fare. It's the best channel on TV, no questions.

@genevievep: I always thought that Violet's power was a sort of reference to the fact that she was a powerfully awkward teenage girl with no confidence in herself (hence her name, which is like "shrinking violet"). She literally turns invisible when the cutest boy in her class walks by. She feels like her powers just

@genevievep: I *liked* that Dory was "asexual." Most of the time, a woman is only in a movie if the role calls specifically for a woman - as a love interest, mom, etc. I would love it if more movies filled roles that were sort of neutral & not needing one specific gender to play it with women.

@genevievep: Right, so Dory should instead be hyper sexual or something and should have fallen in love with Marlin. Because a character isn't a woman if she doesn't have a sexuality. what?

@genevievep: I dunno about you, but the instances where she was "nagging" was done so rightly because of valid concerns of hers. She was worried that the children and they would have to be uprooted again because of Bob's secret outings performing hero work with his powers, which was obviously in violation of the terms
