@Taylorc52: Samsung has actually come out and said that this is essentially a big smartphone. It's the only way they can get Android Market functionality on it with 2.2.

@fury161: I was thinking the same thing. If this thing is supposed to be a big smartphone, then it should have the battery life of a smartphone. 8 hours would be unacceptable for a smartphone.

@Clixx13: Yes, and they also stopped holding guns to our heads and forcing us to eat their food.

@touwe: I'll have the chocolate cake with the chicken frosting, please!

@GMorgan: I can fully understand the backlash against cruel treatment of animals which occurs or has occurred in many places. However, I don't see how this leads to a push for complete vegetarianism. What if I get a burrito at Chipotle where they only buy meat which has been naturally raised and antibiotic free?

Most likely effect of climate change on London:

@Matt Lyons: There's some interesting studies done on CO2 levels and avergae gloabl temperatures over the past couple thousand years. A couple I've checked out point out interesting coincidence of civilization growth during global warming trends due to increased ariable crop land and more favorable temperatures for

@JoeOfTexas: You make a good point. However, I suggest you go read up on the insignificant effects we are barely having on life on the Earth.

@Dr_Watson: It's so spread out that it's not visible as a single mass. And even as spread out as it is, it's not a sizable perceentage of the ocean. The Pacific ocean is freaking huge. The Pacific trash pile is the plantetary equivalent of a milk cap on your 1 acre back yard.

@TendoMentis: Environmentalism is already so far in the forefront of American consciousness as to be inhibiting as it is.

@Sumada: This is true, I have passed the $5000 threshhold for holding.

@mytmouse: That's pretty awesome. This sounds cheesy, but I'm really happy I'll be able to pass on USAA access to my kids. Even if they charged more for insurance, which they don't, I would stay with them.

@gobeaubien: It's a permission slip for an electronic transfer.

@Vidit: Apparently the world is slowly being dominated by a powerful group of agoraphobics...

@mytmouse: Even better still, they credit it to your account instantly, because it's based on your credit rating. For most, you can do up to $10,000 a day in deposits.

@knightvash: "seriously what can you buy for 1 yen?"

@pettiger15: True, but even the amount it takes to coat it could be saved if we got rid of them altogether.

You gotta relax, Brian! You gotta relax when you're doing the crank calls!
