Wonderful! Now the EPA gets to push its agenda and force the auto industry into its environmental dogma through involuntary negative advertising!

@ShantJ: That's probably why they decided not to even have an F. The last thing you want to do is call the guy who is going to buy a sports car from you a failure.

@Almightywhacko: Bingo. I'm not paying for two data connections with Verizon, I want to pay for a better way to use the one I ALREADY HAVE.

@RoboBagins: If he takes you to a movie and then pays for your snacks, he's going to expect you to put out after the movie.

Cue sun-goatse photoshop image in 3...2...1...

Anytime I say "Radeon" I'm still likely going to precede it with "ATI" out of pure habit...

@shimanopower: She looks like an asian Teri Garr (circa 1983)...

@RuckingFetard: If I learned anything from watching Mr. Wizard as a kid, it's that anyone can be a scientist. You don't have to have a lab coat or get paid to do it, just use your knowledge of natural laws to answer questions you have about things around you, and boom, you're a scientist.

@flink: You can buy sub-sonic 9mm at many gun stores. They work just fine.

@8x10: I've made the mistake of firing a .44 magnum (S&W 629 Classic) without ear protection. It wasn't just startling, it caused actual pain in my ear and gave me tinitis for a week. I realized it was stupid the instant I did it and stopped firing for fear of hearing damage. And i did that outside, don't want to

@Apollo: Giz isn't, Carrypad is. And this "netbook" is running on smartphone hardware and software. Which in my mind would make for a terrible netbook. Tablet, sure, but netbook, nope.

I've found that the sound a suppressed gun makes changes from gun to gun. I've only fired 3 myself, a UMP (on full auto and semi), a 9mm H&K, and a .22. The UMP was a hell of a lot of fun, and just made a gassy sound like opening a small CO2 cartridge. The H&K sounded like a decent sized twig snapping, and the .22

@GustavoSM: Sounds like someone has a new appreciation for life...

@Buzz Mega: I imagine this being broadcast on the Spaceship Heart of Gold...

"unecessarily beastly processor"

I have a feeling 275 £150 vouchers wouldn't exactly cover up that little snafu...
