@joule79: I lived in Brasil for two years, hence my fluency in Portuguese. 23 months of that time was spent in Minas Gerais, outside of the main city of Belo Horizonte. Outside of the big city, the number of people I encountered who could honestly speak any level of conversational English could be counted on one
