JUSTIN BIEBER IS RETIRING???

It's from Doctor Who. The 50th anniversary special!

Doctor Who

I got my birthday gift for Christmas!

Yeah. Everyone I know in real life that actively sticks up for men is just a good person. Like my hubby who is very caring toward men who were abused as children—he knows it happens a lot and is underreported, and sees that as a systemic flaw. Bam. Same logic I have. But he would never go around blaming every

Wow. Happy news. Thank you, Jezebel. This is why I go to this site. You give me shitty news (I just learned a bunch of women were forcibly and unknowingly sterilized by the US government up until the 70s)...but then you give me an adorable picture of a newly married gay couple in UTAH of all places.

Oregon (I'm from Oregon) is fucking awesome, don't get me wrong...but the thing about it is that outside of liberal-as-fuck Portland-metro, most of the state is DRAMATICALLY the opposite. Like...the leader of the KKK lives in Ashland. That kind of opposite. Sooooooooo eventually Portland usually gets its way but on

Dude I didn't know either. How did I know about the syphilis thing and not about this? Like, WHAT THE FUCK?

NOOOOOO you guys suck stop freaking leaving!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong...I hate the shit these people are saying too. But why defriend all of them? Couple things about that: 1. it's good to have some friends with differing opinions from yours. 2. if you defriend them right after they disagree with your article they will just think they won.

I'm not single at all and I still put a penis on my Thanksgiving pie. What does that say?

This is why Jez is the only place where I will participate in the comments. There are douches here too, but they're rare enough that I can handle it. If I even START reading comments anywhere else I will just get depressed and sad and go eat popcorn or something.

It REALLY depends where you go. Not because it isn't around everywhere (hell, it's bad even in PORTLAND, OREGON if you're not delusional), but because it's more subtle some places. It's more subtle in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia because of the strong military presence there. The military brings diversity.

I know this is weirdly nit-picky, but it always bothers me. There IS Jesus in Islam, Phil Robertson. There is. There's no Mohammed in Christianity, but there is Jesus in Islam. They consider him a prophet of the same God that they (interesting note) believe they and Christians (and Jews) all worship. That's

I'm dead serious when I say I really don't understand that particular photoshop. Maybe my own body image issues are legitimately improving, but I swear they made her look uglier and less ideal. I mean am I wrong?? She looks WAY more gorgeous in that first picture.

You know I was sitting there puzzling over that one, and your comment made SO much sense.

Best. Definitely the best.

Dealing with loss and death and tragedy was I think what actually FORCED me to question my religion. I think I was hiding behind it to avoid facing the hard questions, and I didn't lose my religion until after I'd done so. It was incredibly difficult to do—I totally get why some people never do it. I really do.

Express. That's where I go, especially when they have their two-fer deals on jeans. Although I don't know if they get SUPER skinny jeans, they do have a skinny option that accomodates curves (not just thighs...like actual curves that go back in at the waist). Very nice.
