The pre-patch has rendered my protection paladin completely useless as a tank. I’m mitigating much less damage now for some reason and I feel really weird having so much less on my action bars. Ugh.

Neverwinter Nights completely ate my childhood. The game came out when I was 13 and I was hooked. I think I’ve bought at least 4 or 5 copies of the game over the years, mostly because I’d lose the discs in a move and then have to repurchase them. Now I have it on GOG and replay it once every few months because it’s

Never got a chance to play this game way back in the day, so I’ve started picking this game up this week thanks to the sale on GoG where it’s only $10.

See, that’s why I always ask, because I didn’t realize that the character could get that stupid until I did some reading into the player class and the force power and realized that it’s really that stupid. The GM now forces less combat encounters on us to balance it out, which works for me.

So, in the Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG, you have light side and dark side points that you roll for at the beginning of the game and you can spend them as “destiny” points to either upgrade your ability or the difficulty of a check, or you can use it to influence the scene in some way. One game I was playing I was

My favorite story involved a Fantasy Flight Age of Rebellion game we were playing.

Honestly? I’m not much a gift person myself. Although I do enjoy getting them, I never ask for them. I’d honestly want to have a ton of older game consoles and games to give to Children’s Hospitals. I’ve been spending a ton of time at a hospital this year beating the hell out of brain cancer and the one thing I

Always nice to see people pick up the instrument. I play guitar professionally, so if you or anyone else has any questions, please ask away, always happy to answer. :)

Fun fact, that guitar solo was Eddie Van Halen, who was recording one of Van Halen's new albums down the hallway and stopped in on MJ working on this song.

Ahh, Nick Arcade, the show I always wanted to be on as a kid, and always got pissed watching because the kids couldn't play video games.

The hunter doesn't end up back where she started. The riddle says she goes south for a mile, then east for a mile and then north for a mile, which indicates that she is in fact a mile east from her original starting location.

And there's a How I Met Your Mother Reference. Thank you. :)

Never go full Zidane.

This is great and all, but there's one major thing that needs to get fixed for this new game: bring back the damn inventory! :(

Fuuuuuuu I wish I would have known sooner, could have gotten tickets. :(

I got some bonus money from subbing for 2 guitar teachers at my work. Had it in my account, saw the presentation at E3 on Tuesday and it was the final push into me finally getting a Wii U and man am I satisfied with my purchase. I picked up the New Super Mario Bros & Luigi U bundle with Mario Kart 8 and got Windwaker

Currently jumping between Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein: The New Order. And then coming back to PC to play Final Fantasy XIV and a few others.

Can't remember the brand, but it was running Windows 3.1. I remember my fond days of discovering the "Games" menu on the computer, and trying to beat Solitaire and Minesweeper. Then I got super stoked when I learned how to install and uninstall software.

This was my very first game ever. I was 3 at the time, and was scared shitless by this game. I would get goosebumps playing it, especially from the cut scenes. Loved it though, and I beat the boss before my mom! She couldn't figure out how to beat the boss, and I figured out how to cast magic spells (up+a I think).

Adam, thanks for all of the work that you've done in this industry. I sure do miss the days of TechTV, 10 year old me always waking up super early and putting it on just to watch it before school.
