@tinman0: I never said they were the highest quality cars available, just that they are no way near the worst. According to JD power (customer satisfaction survey)VW is middle of the bunch. Guess where Fiat came. Dead last.
@eatadonut: Ive read some of the other posts and it seems VW have a different rep in the US as they do here in the UK (thanks for the British comment btw - lol). VWs over here are known for being high quality and for being longlasting. My friend had a Golf with over 140,000 miles and it was still sweet!
