    @slxhz7: Even on modern cars double clutching brings a performance advantage. It means that you can keep the revs at optimal speed while shifting and braking, while reducing stress on the synchromesh, and the drivetrain as a whole. You dont need to double clutch while driving normally, but in racing conditions its

    That was excellent! I would try it myself but as I ride a motorbike it would be a bit too dangerous.

    @kleinlowe: What do you measn? That car is tiny. You do realise that its like half the width of a golf (one front seat, one back seat). You could fit about 4 bags of shopping per trip.

    @TR3-A: They're faster too. Have you ever seen an automatic racing car?

    @Sam: I know I'll look like an idiot getting in and out , can only pick up one friend, and wont be able to fit my weekly shopping in it, but still....

    @skierpage: 60.8mpg? Thats nothing. 200mpg here I come!

    I used to know someone who thought you were supposed to use other cars bumpers to feel when you are too close whilst parking. "I thought bumpers were there so you go bump bump bump into the space" She was not allowed to drive my car.

    @tscurt: We have the same problem in Londen

    @CJinSD: That is true for my first post ( i didnt think of that- whoops), but the auto express list above is more telling as they were all tested under the same cicumstances. Still couldnt someone use a really efficient diesel from say, the focus TDCi, and then add the hybrid tech and make something that gets like

    @Wunno Sev: I hear what your saying, but im still underwhelmed with the economy of the prius considering the amount of hype. Auto express independently tested a range of medium sized cars and came up with this list :

    I have bumper guards. I also have a sheet of polystyrene to protect the bumper guard, and a sheet of bubble wrap to protect the polystyrene, and....

    Here are some cars that beat the prius' 52mpg: (although several car magazines have tested it and it was nearer 40mpg)

    This sounded great at first. I thought they would allow you to watch sky without having a dish, but it turns out you need to already have Sky, so what exactly is the point of it? If you have Sky tv then watch your shows on that.

    They mis-spelled Citicar. It should start with Sh

    They mean sex, and pets separately right?
