If you are on contract, just buy the subsidized version, head over to XDA, and toss $20 to the person or group that got around the locked bootloader. They usually have a donation setup going. Or contribute to the bounty for whomever will eventually get it unlocked.

I love love love love love Alien Isolation. I was sad every time it was absent from one of your GOTY lists. That said, it was a tad too long and could have been trimmed down a bit. I think it could have been a much tighter gameplay/story with a bit of the playtime shaved off.

Obligatory.

I'll agree with that. He was really really creepy.

I think it's as simple as we can dose for food and eat pretty much anything. Not saying its the best life choice, but out diet is technically not restricted. We sort of had a run when the Atkins diet was the fad, but now the diet fad is gluten free.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Just FYI, the link to the IAMA is broken.

Yes. 3 was campy, but it was at least self aware about it and fun to watch. Salvation tried to be a serious movie about serious things, and really just delivered a super bland tale.

I just want it to be decent, it doesn't even have to be great. After Salvation my standards are so low. :(

I really enjoyed Vashj'ir. I'd lump it with Storm Peaks, the only two zones where Blizz made great use of navigating in 3D space.

The music in Grizzly Hills is my favorite zone music in the game.

Well put. I taught guitar lessons for a long time, and while talent plays into it, hard work will get you so much further. I've taught kids without a musical bone in their body to play fairly well, but only because they busted their ass getting it done at home. Also seen really talented kids just squander it by

Disregard!

I can't read it without hearing eff-ing in my head.

More than that, the universe is constantly expanding outward, so the planet wouldn't be in the same position, even going back one exact rotation.

I would never call it a flop, but I'm still sad HBO's Rome had to be so condensed. It was a fantastic show but as I understand it, it was just too expensive to keep going with it.
