Its funny what sticks and what doesn't. Its been at least 20 years since I read that and all I remember is Noah's Ark and something about copious amounts of perfume because no showers allowed.

Wasn't that the one that was all Noah's ark?
I know I read it... And I know it's held in somewhat high regard. But damned if I remember a thing about it.
If you pay taxes, you've already made your contribution. Blame the government if you don't like how the money is allocated.
More like falling with style...

AKA, Ikea.
HBO's Rome. The second season (while still fantastic, with one of my favorite endings of all time) was very rushed due to it getting canned, but the first season was perfect television.
It's called Avengers Assemble in many places outside the US and this was a UK trailer.
Eh, I'd say be ready to mute anyone immediately. Preemptively muting everyone is a bit heavy handed though, as some people are pretty cool. I find about 75% of people are either quiet or can talk like an adult, and 25% are just horrible. Definitely play with friends though if possible.
Also, if you keep playing think about signing up on dotabuff.com. It keeps cool metrics about your games.
You're a newbie who buys teleport scrolls?!? /tearsofjoy
I remember reading a quote by King that said he wished he'd thought of it. If that's not high praise, I don't know what is!
Awesome might be a stretch... but it was certainly watchable.
I highly recommend grabbing a compatible 360 controller as well (wired or wireless with the PC receiver). Many games have native support for them (Hotline Miami included) and its nice to have.
On a 4:3 monitor no less...
Batman teams up with Harry Potter? I'm in.
Oh I know, my first MMO and I dumped way too much time into it. But by the end, poor Rarebit was stuck writing the story and the Wachowski siblings had long left it in the rear view. It got pretty convoluted, so I choose to disregard it :D
I really liked the ending after quite a bit of reflection. It was sad in a way, but it just... fit. Ka is a wheel....
So many directions they could go if they pick it back up someday...
