It's like fan fiction, but with real people. Writing fan fic, you're not really hurting anybody, or even coming close. Sometimes there might be a copyright-based argument that you're hurting the original creator's livelihood, but that's more of a legal assumption than an actual harm (in the sense that the original

Tyler,

Ford! McLaren! This madness must end! There's enough of my soul to go around, dammit!

Great video. I noticed that the BUFF uses spoilers rather than ailerons (possibly due to a massive amount of dutch roll induced by the huge ailerons it'd need to heave that big-ass wing around?) I wonder why they're deployed even when the aircraft is climbing out after a low pass. Counteracting the effects of those

Man, I love the flight deck layout on the B-29, not least because I'm pretty sure Joss Whedon lifted it for the set of Serenity's flight deck.

Good for this guy for intervening (and with strong language, Corporal Hudson's weapon of choice). Rock-throwing is entry-level deviance that, when left unchecked, can blossom into full-on felonious criminality.

Thanks!

You know it's a solid video when the friggin' helicopter hovering and then landing a couple dozen feet away is the quietest part of the clip.

What's the rule/etiquette for ACLS traps? I know they're not 'graded' like manual passes, is there any kind of stigma or penalty (even just socially among the other pilots) for using ACLS instead of flying the approach all the way? Do ACLS traps count toward maintaining qualifications?

Guhhhhhh, the paintjob on the VFA-81 squadron leader's plane (I assume) at about 3:45 is nnnnnnnnnnnggghhh. Yes.

How is it not getting ignited by the afterburners?

Yeah, well, joke's on you because Nightmare's cousin's Creed tribute band just booked a regular gig at a biker bar outside of town and they're gonna BLOW UP any day now.

Step 2A:

Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders founded Heritage Flight, a non-profit dedicated to preserving and flying historic warbirds. His son Greg also became a military pilot, and they flew a number of "Heritage Flights" together with mixed formations of legacy and modern aircraft (P-51 and F-15; A-1 and A-10, etc.). Read and

Heh, I got smacked down for this YEARS ago on another military aviation forum. It seems Americans are the only ones who're familiar with the "Falcon" name. (And as a sci-fi nerd I personally have to give the nod to "Viper," seeing as it came from the original Battlestar Galactica series.)

That is vintage 1980s pornography, featuring authentic feathered hair, and printed on authentic glossy paper. The seller has full supporting documentation, of course.

Nice!

"Floating in perfume, served in a man's hat." Even Moe Szyslak can get that one right on the first try.

Hahahaha, neat. The Avenger laughs at your puny mounting pylons. It's the Drax of aerial weapons.

I saw an article saying that sustained bursts would risk dropping the A-10 below its stall speed, but it was from a FlightGear wiki article so I have no idea how well that might relate to the real world. I'd totally buy
