I’ll admit, the style does lend itself to a certain panache. My original comment was mostly in jest. But let’s not kid ourselves, it’s a crossover.

Since I’m an engineer I really want to do some DIY with a pool noodle or something, but these days my time is a lot more valuable. I may have to buy these. Spent about 20 mins trying to get my wifes phone out of a rental car.
Since I’m an engineer I really want to do some DIY with a pool noodle or something, but these days my time is a lot…
Then you aren’t into Mercedes so why comment?
I agree. Cool tagline.
Honestly, I like the “Go, go” tag. They’re trying to toe the line between this being a blast of nostalgia, and it being new and refreshing. It might be very 90s, but “Go, go power rangers” is just... integral.
Let me make you feel even better:
Holy hell, there are three of us kicking around here!
“I am SO happy we stole Ekblad from the poor Sabres”
Hi, fellow Panthers fan! Ekblad is such an amazing ageless immortal being playing hockey in Florida for some reason.
Bummer, after all that hype.
Can we get Leslie Jones a role in the Black Panther movie? She’d be great as a Darcy-esque audience surrogate.
Stick with a bowtie. Something like this with an LS and air conditioning. Modern brakes as well. Think budget resto-mod:
IMO, get a classic car that’s been upgraded with modern amenities such as fuel injection, air conditioning, etc. Aka restomod. That way you will spend less time wrenching and more time driving.
I would opt for an International Scout II and swap in an LS motor
Volvo Donk car
The main difference between a midsize and fullsize is width.
I drive a Tacoma - 4 door, 6' bed, so it’s a bit longer than that Ranger, but has a similar (short-ish, compared to a FS) wheelbase. It’s a world of difference when comparing that to a FS truck of just slightly bigger length (most recently, I had a rental Silverado - 4 door, short bed) this spring while my truck was…
Well, looks like it’s time to reset the “Days Since We Shit on the MLS” incident counter.
She’s gonna make a great Facebook aunt someday.
I agree that a lot of trucks have ridiculously over exaggerated front ends. The Tundra is the worst offender IMO. The Ridgeline’s front end just doesn’t match the rest of the truck. I don’t think it should be “big and manly” either, because that also wouldn’t match the rest of the truck, but a little more squareness…
