The SLT trim would be more comparable. Optioned similarly that would come out to about the same price as the Tacoma. But then you end up with a V6 fullsize that tows and hauls about the same as the Tacoma, but with an extra 1000 lbs to haul around when empty.

I'm onboard with the GB spray, too. It is hella pricey, but also doesn't leave a total mess and layer of powder dust all over the bathroom. Plus...my balls smell lovely.

I have started using the Gold Bond spray, which is a less messy way to apply it but a much more costly approach. Powder is by far the most cost effective method.
