That’s a lot of extra analysis there, which I can’t disagree with, but the original question was only why can’t electric cars just look normal.” The Bolt looks like a normal hatchback, so it should satisfy his original question.

Exactly, the S and 3 look fairly normal, so it boggles my mind that the X is so weird looking.

Even the X? The Bolt is more mainstream looking than the X.

I don’t know you, but I will refuse to allow you to say you couldn’t pull that off. I believe in you!

And a front end to match the ‘18 Navigator/Continental?

sewww faunseh

Still looks pretty vanish. I think we have to think of this from the other direction. Basically, why not just throw sliding doors on one of the current 3 row CUV offerings? Looks like an SUV, functions like a van!

...well that’s just like...your opinion, man...

Within segments! You know what I mean! Also way to cherry pick the Venza...

Yes. Battle van. Do it.

All they needed to do was Lincolnize the Flex! The Flex already looks dope! Why did they fart up the back end so badly! GAH!

Getting there...

I understand, but nearly every new car post we get here ends up with the comparison shot to some other car.

Looks like a weird blob. I’m out.

I LOVE the Flex. I wish Lincoln would do it’s crazy Navigator styling to that and keep the shape instead of whatever the hell the MKT is.

I want a rugged minivan then. Right height, AWD, plus sliding doors and flat floors, looks like a CUV/SUV rather than a weird blob.

Every car/SUV/CUV/truck looks like every other car/SUV/CUV/truck. Can we please move on from this silly point that’s made in nearly every thread?

You think that is because of the color?

3) because then we’d have 100 memes and thinkpieces about how the employees get treated like shit? It’s a lose-lose.

Hey is this where the Floridians hang out?
