I caught that immediately as well, even on the lower resolution image.

I’m sorry, but just how many inches is that gap above the front and rear bumpers up to the body panels? Why? Just horrid.

They should scrap it and use the tooling to produce an EV DeLorean. they know how to do “gullwing” doors from the Model X, and since the Tesla Roadster is also not forthcoming, they would kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah, but this is America, so also sometimes President. An awful lot of people with money and a tolerance for risk do NOT end up in prision, which is part of the reason why it’s news when it DOES happen.

I did. Wow that is bad. And wait until it winds up in the hands of owners who can’t keep their stainless-steel fridge clean!

You’d think at some point the shell game would have to end.

...where would Tesla’s shares be...

WTF

I think we’re still at the point where autopilot is helping the stock price, not hurting it. There are still investors that will demand you shutup and take their money if you simply imply that AV tech is “getting close”. That combined with the charging network probably insulates the stock sufficiently.

Stop trying to just bend the panels and spend the money on some tools to stamp them with a little surface curvature.

Cybertruck was always a stock pump and nothing more. Original specs and prices have been removed from Tesla’s website. This truck was supposed to be feasible based on the 4680 battery, which (not surprisingly) also turned out to be a stock pump. 4680 is nothing more than a “C” sized battery vs. an “AA” battery. No

Whatever you do, do not zoom in on it. Holy crap it is bad.

Glad I wasn’t the only one. The more you look at the frunk, they couldn’t polish out the imperfections for a press photo. Got to love stainless steel.

Apparently the hood comes with swirls in it from the factory.

He does best when he stands back and lets other people that know what they’re doing do their thing.  Most of his original ideas are just bad.

Thin line between Genius and Madness

The problem is that the bit went too far — all the way to the assembly line.

I think someone put it best that the Cybertruck is a loyalty test. Something to determine how MUCH you like the Kool-aid. It’s bad at being a truck, reports that it’s dangerous to drive, i.e. suspension, brakes, etc. were nearly impossible to manage because they started with something that wasn’t meant to be a truck.

I’m sorry, but just how many inches is that gap above the front and rear bumpers up to the body panels?  Why?  Just horrid.

This truck is starting to give off Edsel vibes or Aptera vibes.
