I have a soft spot for the Morgan, but part of that is pedigree, plus it has the twin out front for style purposes. I think the appeal should be similar to having a bike with a side car.  You lose the bike handling but your seat is loads more comfortable.

There’s one of these in my town, to be honest I had no idea it was FWD. So apparently it’s 3/4ths of a Cruze, I guess?

I’ve never understood these things. It’s like taking the best parts of a motorcycle and a convertible... and building something with what’s left over. Or... how to have some of the fun of a motorcycle and some of the usefulness of a convertible with the bonus of looking like a dork when driving it.

It has a weird, quasi-steampunk aesthetic, which I like much better than the goofy-looking Polaris Slingshot. But it’s such a toy. $23K is just too much.

This is getting pretty common around the country. I travel a good bit and saw this happen, in person, in both Louisville and Nashville.

I have a relative who is a detective in Nashville, and he said they don’t even both to pursue anymore, unless they block a street off or start looting a store or something.

He said

I think it’s mainly, “but we can’t just make everyone else suffer because some a-hole might [kill someone else] when he’s running from the police.”

We never wanted it to be a [Star Wars film].” [...]“We learned so much working with superheroes. [Rebel Moon] is more science fantasy than sci-fi.”

Police aren’t very willing to chase people on Motorcycles and ATVs because it has a very good chance of killing the rider.

This happens with regularity in DC, and nothing ever gets done about it. The discourse here among many is that ATV and dirt bike riding is “DC culture”.

Try Tire Rack. Just avoid the Chinese off-brands. A good independent installer will mount and balance them for a bit of cash. An alignment will let them last much longer, and will pay for itself - and you will notice your vehicle handles better. Inflate the tires 5-8 PSI above the car’s sticker recommendation, and

Tramlining is the term

Concrete is also slippery in and of itself, that’s partly why the highways are grooved to channel the water away. However if you have sticky tires, those grooves can mess with the steering rather suddenly. I often experience a swaying on those hwys in the dry because of that.

It’s an issue with poverty, you still need a car even if you can’t afford the maintenance

I thought this was common knowledge. But I guess if you never have rain, I suppose you don’t know this 🤷‍♂️

Get out of  the “hookup culture” or you will never find meaningful human connection. The FOMO is real, and once dismissed you life will improve.

In my experience a good number of folks in healthcare fit the profile the study authors described. Probably has something to do with the primary factor that motivates people to work hard and be high achievers. Helping others versus money/power and whatnot.

My first thought here is that it would be difficult to find agreeable, non-neurotic people who are also the over-achieving, ambitious, workaholic types that would have the skills and stamina necessary for such a mission. Maybe this is just my own biases at work, though...

The truth is, Trump supporters are patriots

Since Mini-Me American Hitler comes across as dumb as a rock, almost as dumb as American Hitler, how many men did it take to explain “listless vessels” to Mini-Me?

As with Hillary’s “deplorables” or even Obama’s “guns and religion” comments, the real issue they have with it is because they know deep-down he’s absolutely right (stupid metaphor or not).
