He has 8 cars on the policy, and can afford a CT. Why not get a specialized insurer (one who covers exotics) instead of going with Geico?
Yep. The vehicle is stretched and looks almost comical.
First Gear: I’d put it on less on Henrik’s incompetence as a CEO than on his stubborn insistence on placing his wife in charge of the business.
I honestly wouldn’t mind a Camry 0r Accord. They’re honest, reliable transportation and wouldn’t be looked down on even in a multimillion dollar neighborhood.
That’s great that abusive riders get charged for cleanup. It doesn’t negate the fact that someone’s car is now trashed and will be out of service (for both personal and ride-share use) while it’s cleaned. Are the drivers compensated for lost wages as well?
Not panicking, just wishing my pay increases matched theirs.
The union’s opening demand was 77%!!
I know it’s an incremental increase over 4 years or whatever, but that’s CRAZY. What other industry has that kind of increase year-on-year? I’d wager most of us are lucky to get 10%, maybe 20 if we’re incredibly lucky/gifted/talented.
Yeah, the DMV can be a shitshow. I blame it on affluent moms who have too much time on their hands and panic at the first sign of any trouble.
I agree, hence my hesitance to back the unions. They’re essentially holding the economy hostage to derive what I think are ostentatious concessions.

Toilet paper wasn’t impacted by this. It would be more car imports.
Back then Nissans were the sporty alternative to the reliable Toyota or boring Honda. They weren’t the shitshow they are now; they actually had decent cars like the Maxima, Sentra, 240SX, 300ZX. Hardbody(?)/Frontier, etc.
All the major mapping software already does this - Google, Waze, Apple Maps. I’m sure it could be integrated into Android Auto, CarPlay, or whatever OEM nav software is out there.
From what little I’ve read, Thor owns 8 or so different RV brands, so quality may vary across the segment.
Yeah. When almost every EV is around $70-80k, you’ve already pretty much exhausted the upper level of the “mass” market. And most EV makers are still losing money on every EV sold.
LOL, I meant it in jest, as in she threw him under the bus even though he was dead.
Always a (strong) possibility, but I venture there’s more to this story than this old lady is claiming.
