i would just like to point out that these 3 men have, combined, 6 white-as-fuck first names. never trust a man with 2 first names. this was inevitable.

jailbait countdowns are fucking creepy as hell. The Olsen twins countdown online seemed to last a good 5 or 6 years, which was just an accepted way for guys to say they wanted to fuck a 12 year old.

It’s quite humbling to take up snowboarding as a young adult, dedicate a fair amount of time at getting proficient at it, and then in a few years watch kids who started snowboarding at five years old rip around the terrain parks and the half-pipe, and not balance on top of a snowboard so much as use it as an extension

I watched this whole damn event on CBC last night and - I shit you not - they cut away from it right before Chloe started her final run. After the Chinese athlete finished her run, and it was clear that Kim had secured the gold, CBC just straight up pulled away and moved on. For some reason, they were in a breathless

Shaun White is 31 and in his fourth Olympics and he got a 98.50 in qualifications last night, so...

I got way ahead of myself last night and thought “at the 2030 Winter Olympics she could be (still only) 29 years old going for her 4th straight gold medal, wow!”

She actually made the Today Show watchable this morning; she should get a medal just for that.

oh shit that IS fun, lots of in-drama there. But they are ALWAYS on time, and they work harder than any Jonathan author out there.

Ha, overall I agree, but romance tends to have the juiciest fights and scandals, at least they did when I was paying better attention. I could lose hours just bouncing from blog to blog, enjoying the fireworks.

Also Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series, if you like your heroes to be actual Archangels. Or Jeaniene Frost when you want your hero to be the ACTUAL Dracula. Or JR Ward when you want them to be urban vampires or something?

They’re such good world builders, that it’s like, I wish they were writing more Edge novels, but I also can’t wait to see where they go next, because they just keep putting out such neat and thoughtful worlds. They’re not reinventing the wheel with their plotting or anything, but it doesn’t matter because their worlds

I liked the Edge books and the Innkeeper books, but I definitely prefer Kate Daniels or the Hidden Legacy books. I probably like the Hidden Legacy ones best and I really hope they continue that series! Especially since the Kate series is winding down. I know they’re in talks with Avon to continue HL, so fingers

Great rec...their novels from the Edge are actually my favorites that they’ve written! I think they’re done with them now, but I did absolutely love Hidden Legacy too. Kate Daniels is their most popular, but actually my least favorite. I like them well enough, but I just find their other stuff a bit more interesting.

I’ve always been sort of resigned to having to wait for it, but man, after reading Lothaire and the scenes with him and Nix, I was basically salivating for her story.

I’m with you on this. I love me some Kresley Cole (I also like her YA series!), but I’m annoyed that I’m being kept waiting on stories for people introduced in the earlier books. I actually don’t care at all about Nix finding her soulmate as I think I prefer her as a side character (though I do want to see her ascend

Here to second Tessa Dare, Sarah McLean, Meredith Duran and Courtney Milan, all of whom I heard of from other Jez articles and was not disappointed.

I want freaking Nix’s freaking story so freaking bad

Woo, Kresley Cole! I really enjoy Immortals After Dark, though I was REAL glad when I got a Kindle and didn’t have to carry those books around on the train.

romance authors: the only reason the publishing industry is still afloat and the only authors that aren’t assholes.
