I think portability is a big factor for all the people that grew up with Nintendo and now have spouses and families. I play on the TV when i can, but when the wife wants to watch something it’s so easy to pop it out and keep playing seamlessly. If I want to play Nioh or Horizon, I have to wait for her to finish first

Nope but you might stumble upon a Talus vs Guardian fight which is way cooler.

*spoiler* it doesn’t.

So, question. Do you hate games like Halo that force you to get rid of your weapons every couple fights because they’re out of ammo? Or do you like games like Dark Souls or Skyrim where you find one weapon that’s better than all the others and never use another one again? Because that’s why these weapons exist, to

Other than being a good side diversion, the only thing these Shrines made me want was a full on Zelda dungeon.

Really? Because I’m being completely serious. I’m typically very picky about which games I play, and usually never play more than a dozen or so in a year. As such I avoid anything I don’t think I’ll like, but I really enjoyed FFXV up until that point. I don’t have any issue saying it’s the worst section of a game I’ve

Ok, thats fine, but 100+ hours? I’ve played very few games for that long, and I can’t fathom doing it for a game I didnt like. Why waste your time like that?

I think you’re wrong there. It would be fine if that was their intent to make you feel helpless. It would be fine to make it earned when you get your friends back. There are a couple problems with that screws that up though.

I played 35 and beat the game and I didn’t like it. No way I would have given it 100+ hours. Why would you subject yourself to playing that much of a game that you didn’t think was good? Especially since chapter 13 is easily the worst part of any video game I’ve ever played.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. I think we found the fire folks.

CoolMiniorNot isn’t exactly a small company in the boardgame world. Their word is worth as much as FantasyFlight or Hasbro at this point. This game will come out, but none of the buyers really know if it’s good or not. This is exactly a preorder.

The $100 really bites, especially not knowing what’s actually going to be in the box. I’m not usually one to harp on quantity vs content (Hell I paid $130 for Food Chain Magnate which contains no miniatures and was probably illustrated by a guy in 2 days) but Blood Rage wasn’t exactly the greatest game ever made and

You could aay that about most of the story. *zing!*

Yeah it’s something people on the internet can learn. Regardless of how many people here say theirs is fine or how many youtubers show problems, until we have hard data people are going to pick a side. Just so happens that mine is fine and the majority of anecdotes I’ve seen have been positive.

Considering the game that came out is heralded as the best game of all time, I’d say they didnt have to sacrifice too much. Also, the Switch handles the game much better at the same resolution and the same at a higher resolution.

Or could be they weighed the cons of plastic (scratching) versus the cons of glass (shattering) and decided to go that route.

It’s a phrase I’ve heard from even close friends. And that’s the thing, we won’t really know how bad this actually is until Nintendo says or someone does some hardcore investigation. I am doubting that it’ll be even close to what the internet is decrying right now. Based on gadget websites I’d think this was a massive

The performance is really odd in Zelda. I’ve never had any parts where it’s unplayable, but whenever I hit a moblin and send him flying everything pauses for half a second before he falls, almost like it needs to take a moment to calculate everything. Otherwise just small drops in grassy areas and Kakariko Village.

I have a 4k (not curved) Samsung too and I thought it was just a feature of the TV! Although for me it only happens when you dock it or when you turn it on while it’s docked. There’s no reason for it to do that if the Switch is turned off or in sleep mode.

People always say this, but there’s no evidence that it would actually be good for Nintendo. They are explicitly tied to their hardware. Their games are designed with it in mind, their philosophy for it lingers in every part. How well has Sega done after they took that route? How well has Atari done? Nintendo would
