Well yeah, but he didn’t say wargames, he said boardgames. Descent would be a reasonable fascimile for a boardgame and that’s typically $60 on amazon.

Saying that boardgaming isn’t a cheap hobby because of one $250 game is like saying buying a car is infeasible because of $1,000,000 Bugatti’s. This is the most expensive game on the market by a long shot.

Eldritch Horror: Co-operative game about saving the world from otherworldly beings. The base set comes with about 300 cards that all have three or more different encounters on them that trigger at different times, so the story is different every time you play. In essence, it tells a random story through little tidbits

I think I know who to blame...

I don’t know. There’s something inherently visceral about having to physically damage something in a way that a normal board game can’t emulate. Sure, you might have done poorly in pandemic that one time, but you got to put everything back in the box and it started over the next time. In this, if London goes to shit

The problem with concealing valuables in garbage is that it might get thrown away, not stolen.

Played most of the beginning of OotA as a DM and there’s a few things I think you needed to do.

It’s a fine game, especially if it’s your first after only Monopoly or Risk, but the boardgame scene has a ton better games for this price. Carcassonne, Isle of Skye, Dominion, Five Tribes, and Ticket to Ride are all similarly priced and far better games!

So you don’t like Lara Croft because she’s a different character than Nathan Drake? Not everyone needs to be a smarmy, cocksure rogue with a heart of gold you know.

I usually hate the term “get gud” but cmon man. Stop walking into his hook.

Saints Row is like the parody of GTA you see on crime shows on CBS and it’s awesome.

I totally disagree with this list, but totally understand how you guys can come up with it. I really don’t think there’s a “bad” character in the whole bunch.

I was honestly feeling pretty meh about Dark Souls 3 while playing it. The bosses weren’t as fun or memorable, the locations were kind of odd and samey. Then I fought the Abyss Watchers and saw their move sets similar to Artorias and started getting excited. Then I got the the Boreal Valley and fought the horrific

I don’t know how, but these keep getting better and better. Well done Chris and everyone.

Most games that required the expansion pack came with it, and it wasnt nearly the price of a whole new console. More of an accessory like a dance pad or a wii motion plus. You’re really splitting hairs with extra content on the GBA. We’re talking about entirely new upgrades to consoles, not slight content updates to

What? When? The New 3DS? The DSi? Because that’s all I can think of.

Yeah no. Compared to the competition, this isn’t good. It’s complete shit. A shmup and a three and a half year old Wii U game? Come on.

Someone always says this, so I’ll let it be me this time.

wouldnt adding new things to existing locations be new content? See Broken Steel or Knights of the Nine.

Seems cool! My only worry is that this doesn't really answer the vocal complaints about the main game. Where are the factions thst seem like they were cut? Where are the locations like the race track that they could easily convert into a real location instead of just a murder fest? Seems to me like they're just
