I have tried this (the Alton method), and while I didn't do a blind taste-test w/ a non-dry-aged steak, I can vouch that my home dry-aged porterhouse was the best steak I've ever grilled for myself.

It's probably similar to the reason they needed to create "no texting while driving laws," distracted driving is already illegal, but they needed to make a more specific law to get people to pay attention.

A) You have no idea it will have "nothing worth paying for," seeing as no real details have been released yet. Maybe it will have some really in-depth analysis that will be of interest to the "pro" community? I have no idea what they could offer to make it worthwhile, but the point is you just don't know.
