PLEASE, if your IT Dept has blocked Dropbox, don't go around it with a portable version — it's blocked for a damn good reason! In older or smaller offices with limited bandwidth, multiple instances of Dropbox can absolutely kill a network. It's constantly phoning home, looking for changes to your folders.
