I think you're kind of mincing words. Peter is becoming more intelligent. He can do things with his mind he couldn't do before, with information he couldn't possibly have had access to before, which is the definition of intelligence.

I think at the end of Season 4 Walter said most of bit was gone, but there was some residual cortexiphan in Olivia's system. It would have been the easiest thing in the world for the writers to bring it back. They've done less likely stuff.
She has a frustrating habit, this season, of not saying anything at all, even in response to direct questions. Her expression is vaguely worried and/or sad. It's supposed to signify emotional turmoil, but it drives me crazy. The producers want her to be a figure of silent suffering this season, and their wasting her…
" So far, I'm still not seeing why a bunch of Resistance fighters wouldn't want to implant the Observer tech in their heads, even if it killed them after a week or two."
I wish I didn't agree with all of this. I'm glad I'm not the only who feels Olivia has become a shadow of her former self. Have you noticed when emotional things happen to her this season, she almost always responds without words? For example, when she was reunited with Etta, she was too overcome to say much, and last…
It's so obvious that you're evil.
The posters are real. Olivia saw them first, and there's no evidence that they didn't appear until after the wormhole. They were just facing the opposite way in the alley, and Olivia didn't notice them until she ran to the end and then turned around. The simplest explanation, in this case, is the right. I don't get…
No need to apologise for being trained as a biochemist, especially when it qualifies you to analyse not only the brain, but TELEVISION. Seriously, your observations are very interesting. Removing parts of your brain to prevent you from carrying out an evil plan always seemed like a really dumb idea.
It should be "acting single-mindedLY" and "act "normalLY." Sorry, but AARGH!
You're not the only one. I still felt they didn't do much with her in this ep, though. She basically followed Peter the whole time. At least she was shooting stuff and being clever, but I think they're giving her womanly emotion this season, not action (so crippled by her grief over her not being a natural mother,…
I think all she meant was that there's no guarantee of a second season at this point.
^That.
It's true, I'm not French. But I haven't told my friends and family yet, so keep it under your chapeau.
"That's my day and whatever I want on that day will be about me..." Oooooh I really hope I don't get invited.
What did she say about the French that was "pretty bitchy?" Seriously, I can't find it.
"We open on a New Orleans abortion clinic, where a beautiful mulatto..."
I'm actually getting more disillusioned with the show as the story progresses. Everyone has essentially the same personality (tough, fast-talking), and most of the action is totally arbitrary. The pretty girl has to put on a pretty dress and kill some guy because some other guy told her to, and now she has to get…
Billy Burke is boring and expressionless on this show. Everything he says is calculated to make us think he's a stereotypical tough, unsentimental bastard with a heart of gold. "Grumble grumble I hate dumb kids grumble grumble grumble."
I'm Australian. Can you mail me some?
