Lol what is this revisionist history. I don’t own Apple products and that will probably continue but this completely ignores how much better the iPhone was at the time. BB had their own thing going on and they were doing well, but I had tried multiple touch screen phones before the iPhone and they were mid at best. It

If you’re dumb enough to give Musk your money, I have zero sympathy for you.

These were fun in Gran Turismo.

There’s a LOT of cool cars that were either kneecapped or never built because GM was terrified of losing a single Corvette sale.

How about getting a young FBI agent with blonde hair and a nice smile to go undercover to infiltrate the local scene of outlaw drivers? Maybe he gets a job at a parts store that sells NOS cylinders and intakes?

It might seem obvious to everyone after 24 years, but over ten percent of Americans have never flown on a plane, according to trade lobby Airlines for America. Any flight could be someone’s first.”

I guarantee that if they ever remove the sign, the first sound heard on the first commercial flight without one will be some asshole striking a match to light up because “thur in’t no sign saysing uh can’t”. Because ur freedumbs!

Plus anyone left working there is looking to leave or looking over their shoulder for when dipshit is going to lay them off on a whim. Their quality is going to shit.

This company is a husk of its former self. The cuts have been deep and it has probably caused good people to leave for more stable ventures. One person can not solve this but one can completely destroy it.

The level of integration is up the maker, not Apple.

Confirmed their best sellers still have CarPlay (Silverado, Tahoe, Trax, etc.). Their bone-headed decision to get rid of it will play out over time.

I’m going to guess the recent MBA grads thought they’d “cut costs” by eliminating the cheaper, volume sellers, and boost profits by building “high margin” stuff.

Roll the Dodge, RAM, Jeep, and Chrysler brands together under the glorious Plymouth banner.  Duh!

A U.S. CEO can certainly screw things up too, but I don’t think GM’s Carplay decision is even close to the existential problem facing Stellantis.

It’s all a show.

First gear is a ridiculous situation to see if only because it was obviously going to end that way when the Land of Forgotten Toys that is Stellantis spun itself into existence. They assumed that the money printing machine didn’t require oiling. Even Sergio (and Carlos is no Sergio) struggled with the complexity of

Really?

It’s pretty simple: a nearly-all European executive team who has very little experience with the North American market is running the show. Into the ground.

What about my sense of affordable, Stateside wagon?

The tariff is hardly the magic fix these fuckwits seem to think it is. I recall US soybean farmers losing their biggest customer after Trump tried to play the trade war game with China resulting in them having to be bailed out by the gov’t to the tune of $28 billion. They must think Americans are idiots, or are just
