I’ve also had it flag when it starts “trending” based on previous usage / mileage intervals (X thousand per month, etc.) then if you change your driving habits it goes all wonky.

How much of this is actual detected fraud vs. Carfax’s “estimated” mileage thing? Things can be flagged by mistake when say a service tech fat fingers the mileage, or estimates it as well.

I know that’s an option, but I’m not a fan of the cladding in general.

To be clear, they could 100% meet those standards. It’s just going to cost them money in R&D and chew into their profit margins.
