If you have passport and don’t mind carrying it for air travel, I’d save the real ID for when you’re next due in the DMV to renew photo / eye test. It’s a bit of extra paperwork plus bringing a few items along. It really didn’t add much to the process in my state.

Box trucks also don’t have a rear window, I see no issues here.

Oh agreed, 100%. They are wagons on stilts. I just wish I got the option to reduce the ground clearance back to sedan levels.
