Agreed. As an owner of 2011 WRX hatch, it’s not super fast in a straight line, but it handles like a champ. Throw in some snow (with snow tires) and it’s at home.

Oh agreed, 100%. They are wagons on stilts. I just wish I got the option to reduce the ground clearance back to sedan levels.

I just don’t enjoy the higher ride height / driving dynamics of most SUVs. There’s a few I’d be OK with but would much rather prefer a sedan based wagon (drives like a sedan but has storage of SUV).

Depends on the specific vehicle. Ride height and driving dynamics differ greatly.  Compare Legacy GT Wagon to its Outback cousin. Or AllRoad vs. Avant.

Depends on the state, but can use that info to look up where you live, your name, past driving record, etc. Could also report you as the party that ran in a hit and run or other actions.
