That doesn't change the fact that it still counts as DLC. I'm not even entirely sure why you're bothering to argue this since I agree with you about Nintendo's lack of greed about DLC.

hahahha...wait, you are serious?
AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

None of the DLc on Fire Emblem "breaks" the game. I played the game fully, without any DLC. It isn't something needed for the full experience, its just extras that is not needed. :Luigi DLC is hardly a DLC at all, more like a totally new game.
This. Nintendo has spoken on numerous occasions that paid DLC would only be clearly optional content that is not necessary for a complete game experience. Take a look at New Super Luigi U for example, or the DLC stages for Fire Emblem: Awakening that exist only to essentially break the game.
"but one day you'll pay $2 for a Zelda game then have to pay for the gear to unlock the deeper areas of dungeons and oh god this is a dark and terrible future." You think that, but you do not know that, nor do i think that will happen. Nintendo isn't that greedy, they don't want stuff like that keeping people from…

And you wouldn't need to swap discs out of your system, or pack the discs when you travel or move. For me that's the big one.
Personally (I know groups of people don't agree with me) I find Nintendo consoles worth it just for Nintendo games, (they do get some great games from third parties as well, it just takes time) because they take so long between games.
Remember what happened to Sega when they stopped making consoles and focused only on software? They somehow couldn't remember to make Sonic games for over 9 years until Sonic Colors came out.
Even if they only sell 20 million units (or whatever the GameCube sold) they will still be stable. These are the same tired arguments I see against Nintendo over and over, much like the 3DS, and Nintendo consistently proves the media wrong. I know it seems like marketing puffery for Him to say that once a new Mario…
Don't they support 1080p too?
To all of you who seriously consider getting anime or FF characters in a Smash Bros game to be a good idea...
Capcom is a weird one.
These guys are bananas.
You know what, looking at them side-by-side now...
Yeah, you are right. There is a severe lack of brown, motion blur and lens flare. I hope they'll adopt that soon.
This reminded me of the best cookies I ever ate:
