I take your point, but in the uk we don’t have the same scale of racism problems (of course we have terrible racism, but we don’t have the recent past of an economy built on slave labour, followed by apartheid) and we also don’t have your utterly insane incarceration problem. So in the UK context I feel like its not

Thaaaank you. Look, I know over time Jez has shifted more into White Feminism(TM) territory but....god damn, this....this is crossing a line.

Agreed. There are way too many innocent people in custody, and the fact that a white woman is the focus of the story is glaring.

I’ve seen a story or two like this before, and as someone who works everyday to get people *out* of custody, it is utterly baffling and not at all cute.

Bella Thorne, take it from Lizzo: “the only ex’s that I care about are in my fucking chromosomes.”

There was a popular media personality in Phoenix, Bill Heywood who with his wife did just the same thing. I know that Alice knew him. Bill and his wife were extremely close. They checked into a hotel that had a foyer that led into the bedroom with a door inside the exterior door. They posted a note on the inner door

DISNEY PRINCESS HAIR

I still have a magnet of Spike on my fridge. Absolutely the hottest, and his scene with Buffy (you know the one) was essential to my teenage sexual awakening.

I met David Boreanaz once on jury duty. He was called to be a member of the jury pool the same day I was, and I noticed him sitting over to one side of the jury room. I summoned up the courage to approach him, slipped onto the bench next to him, leaned in, and quietly said “I’m a big fan of your work.” (It was clear

Seems like a good time to tell about when I met David Boreanaz. He was at a wedding I was at. I was working the wedding and had to sit in the front row during the ceremony. Angel was sitting in the pew directly behind me and could not stop giggling. Like, little schoolgirl nonstop giggle loop giggling. He also was

20 years? Dear god, I’m old.

Unpopular opinion: Angel was the superior show.

I can’t drive in flip flops...I sometimes will drive barefoot, but otherwise I need a shoe (sandal, whatever) that has a back on it. It could have something to do with my driving a standard (maybe? Three pedal issue?), but since I started wearing flip flops (in the last 10 years), I feel super unsafe driving in them.

Singer made ~$40 million from Bohemian Rhapsody. Imagine paying 1/250th of your salary one year in exchange for rape privileges.

As that uncle, let me say there are worse fates.

Leo is quickly turning into Jack Nicholson. Brad is turning into your stoner uncle that only gets invited to Thanksgiving because he’s family. Once Grandma dies, no one will see him again.

Friendly reminder that the Kardashians have always been loud and very public advocates of Planned Parenthood. They even dedicated an entire episode of their show to PP and what they do, where workers from PP talked about their services. This wasn’t for the K’s themselves (obviously), but a very intentional effort to

It’s too real, I had to stop watching.

And earmark it for abortion procedures, the same way the government earmarks federal money for non-abortion services.

Give the $26 million directly to Planned Parenthood.
