I actually thought this was MORE of a parade than previous years. Few attempts at passing (by the same few people), but the most significant passing (Vettel and Webber passing Hamilton) was under a safety car period.

I'm surprised the thief even got very far. The car has a permanent tow hook so it must break down all the time.

A single normal car battery? Sure, that's easy.

This might be a start.

I was super bummed to find out that the Monza oval was blocked by invisible walls.

It's not like swapping out your laptop battery. These batteries weigh hundreds of pounds and need to be connected and secured in the car in a save crash proof way.

There is a single manufacturer for all cars.... that was always the intention.

I think this has potential in the future to be pretty popular, but as long as the batteries don't allow them to use a single car for the whole race, this is just a showcase of the worst part about electric vehicles and overshadowing anything good about it.

They are rain tires. They probably just did it for the burn outs.

Got my car in 2008 and it's never been flushed... but it also has never had any type of brake maintenance at all.

Pretty sure Red Bull has the nuts built into the wheel like most other teams. If the nut isn't fully on, its still there.

"There's still one guy somewhere in the level, so the combat music keeps playing… I can hear him talking but can't find him."

Jalopnik a new site?

Happens a few times a year. Most of the time they realize it before they get back on the track, but I think they aren't allowed to rejoin the race at that point.

I almost fell into the trap before having watched the race, but at least the image is fairly generic so it didn't ruin it for me.

The Prius came out 16 years ago, and not even 10% of new cars are hybrids.

All the fins and wings and doohickies on this car are probably just as functional as the plastic bit on top of most engines.

...which lights are the headlights?

That's what the network of drones is for.

Who cares if the 'dance' they are doing isn't the Harlem Shake. The song says 'Harlem Shake' and that is where the name of the track comes from. What they are doing, is having fun. You also seem to know nothing about music, and probably didn't even know what the Harlem Shake was until you saw that instructional you
