Now I really understand the origin of the slang usage of "cue ball".

I don't think there's much question that this is true insanity at work, but if it is schtick Walton rivals the Chinese guy doing the goldfish bowl trick in 'The Prestige' in sheer devotion to his craft.

I've seen worse first drafts by summer associates.

Defining "discipline" so as to be chiefly measured by penalties sort of misses the boat from a coaching perspective. Sure, penalties tell you something about "discipline", but other things that are just not easily measured by grabbing numbers from a box score are more important. Discipline for a defense isn't

God bless Brent.

The Packers had two chances to possibly win the game on defense on the last drive, but they were depending on Jarrett Bush and Micah Hyde to make plays that they were put into position to make. I'd say it's the players and not the play calls that are the problem.

This deserves better than the late-night Saturday time slot.

The rules, in practice, simply don't really for it right now. You can barely touch receivers. You have to be careful tackling. Offensive linemen can hold in all but the most obvious of ways. Offenses didn't really get much smarter. We just made it easier for them.

Landry takes knee to side of head. Teammate comes up and gives him multiple head shots in celebration. We need a GIF.

I didn't know the drones could hit a target moving at that speed.

I have no beef with the Niners who are a great team, and don't understand why you've taken the post to be excuse making for two losses. It's a commentary on the season in general. But since you asked, GB was missing three significant pieces in Week 1: Bulaga was lost for the season, forcing GB to start a rookie

Or the front seven having severe trouble getting off off blocks. Or anyone other than Sam Shields being able to catch. And nobody able to win a one-on-one against a pass blocker.

Yep. And Rodgers on the field = scoring = other guys trying to keep up = other guys playing more to GB's few strengths. Before Rodgers went down GB was something like 5th in the league in rush defense. And while the Rodgers injury got all the attention, the team has been depleted by injury on both sides of the ball,

I'm partial to styrofoam versus cardboard as anti-concrete insulator. Only problem I ever had with styrofoam was my now-wife jumping up in excitement over a Desmond Howard punt return in the rain/sleet playoff game against the Niners back in the day, landing on the edge of the 1" foam and turning her ankle.

Look at that fucking painted parking lot they're playing on.

I feel robbed. We could have had 3 early playoff games in Week 17. Not too bad a game tonight for what was supposed to be a dog.

I'm not advocating changing how the playoff berths are given to division winners, but it's hard not to feel bad for the Cardinals when you watch the NFC North and NFC East. The Cards could finish the year with wins at SEA and over the 49ers to go 11-5 and have nothing to show for it. I say this as a GB fan.

I don't see you disputing the four minute part.

You are not alone.
