Tokyo ghoul is much more drama base, about the life of Kaneki who is turn into a ghoul, the problem he faces and how he struggle to live in two different world of human and ghoul and moral question of killing to survived etc but now is just full blown shounen battle manga who conveniently lost his memory.

Tokyo Ghoul is great but the sequel :RE is just terrible. like many manga that suddenly got popular, it follow the tradition of big final battle>apparent death of character>time skip towipe everything clean for a new start like they have ran out of idea for the original story and have no idea how to continue except…

From what i read, Shibuya is completely different than Akiba, one being a trendy fashion oriented street and latter being a street for otaku and anime so no shit you didn’t see any (otaku)trend post there. and yes “it’s a relatively small thing” because otaku is only a very small part of population
